Having served at Woodside School for over 5 years, I am delighted to accept the new position of Administrator of this happy and thriving Public School.
I was educated at a Public School in the U.K. and although many things have changed in the intervening years, the tenets of self-discipline and attention to study, combined within a happy learning environment remain the same.

Woodside School prides itself as being a small and ‘intimate’ School, where teachers are personally known to students and students to teachers. As with most successful organisations, one of the problems we face is that of how big we should grow – we certainly have the space on our green and luxurious campus – but we always need to bear in mind that we should guard against losing the ‘personal touch’.

One of the main ingredients of Woodside’s success can be put down to the total commitment that I look for in all our teachers and I am determined that this should always remain the case. Many of our staff have been at the School for a number of years and this contributes to the sense of permanence and stability that is so important for the moulding of young people.
Of course, we cannot stand still. We are constantly in the process of renewal and refurbishment –essential elements if our students are to be nurtured and directed into becoming useful and decent citizens of this great country.
