Woodside School, established in 1991, is located in the heart of Ooty town and spread across a serene 17-acre campus of lush green pastureland. The school caters to students from across India and functions as a co-educational institution. Woodside offers both residential and non-residential, providing a supportive and nurturing environment for every student.
Following the CBSE curriculum, the school maintains small class sizes of around 25 students, ensuring a comfortable learning environment and allowing teachers to give personal attention to each pupil.
Guided by its motto, “Sapere Aude,” a Latin phrase meaning “Dare to be wise” or “Dare to know,” Woodside School encourages students to look beyond the obvious—to see what everyone else has seen, yet think what no one else has thought. The school strives to nurture curiosity, independent thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.
